The
1st Annual Rogue Valley Alternative Health & Wellness
Fair
June 13, 14 & 15, 2008
Josephine County Fairgrounds |
| |
| This
event is designed to promote the use and understanding of small
business owners in the Rogue Valley who devote their practice
by assisting, educating and promoting complementary health and
wellness care.
These small businesses diligently strive to
provide affordable complementary health and wellness care
to the members of our community. These are men and women in
the field of massage therapy; aromatherapy, chiropractic;
acupuncture; and, health food businesses; vitamin and herb
stores, yoga/pilates centers; nutrition; exercise, physical
therapy and many more that assist the community in realizing
the benefits of complementary health and wellness.
|
| |
| Let
me share our plan with you. . . |
| If
you are a complementary and/or alternative business owner in
the Rogue Valley devoting your practice to assisting and/or
educating health and wellness care to the members of our community,
you are welcomed to attend this event as a vendor or speaker.
We are looking for both vendors and speakers in the field of
massage therapy, aromatherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture or
health food, vitamin/herb stores, yoga/pilates centers, nutrition,
exercise, physical therapy and many more that specialize in
health and wellness care.
This event will be hosted by 40+ vendors,
such as yourself, all specializing in complementary healthcare
in the Rogue Valley. There has never been an event of this
kind featured in the Rogue Valley and will set a precedence
for the makings of an annual event that will undoubtedly be
embraced by the community. Your business will be featured
in all advertising and all fair attendees could become potential
customers. We want not only every visitor to the fair to benefit
from attending but we want all vendors to benefit from this
event with increased business exposure to the entire Rogue
Valley.
|
| |
| A
healthy community is a "thriving" community! |
| |
| In
order to ensure the success of this event, we are making advertising
our highest priority. We want to make a huge difference for
the community by hosting small health and wellness business
owners by creating a venue for the community to have an opportunity
to learn more about complementary medicine. But, just as important
we want to be sure the community knows that all of the vendors,
sponsors and volunteers for this event care about them by investing
in their over-all health and well-being.
If we fulfill this objective, we know that
we can meet our own objective; which is to turn this event
into the best health fair the Rogue Valley has ever experienced.
|
| |
To
make our event a huge success, we need lots of people to attend.
We wanted a place which would easily accommodate not only
our vendors (business owners) but had name recognition, centrally
located and had an ability to attract people from Roseburg
to Shasta and a time of year when people were willing to venture
outside. So, we have reserved the Josephine County Fairgrounds
for June 13, 14 and 15. The best part about these dates is
we won't be alone! The Rose Show will be hosting their annual
event in the Flower Building; Horse Racing will have begun
and the area will have plenty of visiting families due to
the various high school graduations in the area. We are flying
on the heels of "Amazing May" activities by extending
an additional opportunity to stay in the area!
We
also realized we needed to attract guests of the Fair with
not only massive publicity, (T.V., radio; newspaper, etc.)
by advertising the unique features of our event to as many
people as possible, but we knew we needed a "draw",
something that would secure the success of this event beyond
curiosity. We are excited to have Dr. Robin Miller,
who is a very dynamic, motivational, and well-known throughout
the Rogue Valley as our Keynote Speaker.
We
appreciate your strong commitment in supporting projects for
the betterment of the community and that's why we chose to
share with you this wonderful opportunity for the Rogue Valley!
We are going to present to the community an event that is
about them and how we care
about them by investing in their health and wellness.

special opportunity like this doesn't come around often;
